    Unhappy

Pulling out of a parking stall at HomeDepot a little bit ago I guess I wasn't looking as well as I should have been. Heard a 'whomp' and felt a jolt and cursed. I'd backed into the drivers side door of a Saturn. Totally my fault.

There didn't seem to be any noticible damage to the Saturn, mabye it'll just need to be buffed out. My car, however, is showing some small signs of damage to the rear bumper cover, some of the plastic looks stressed and there is quite a noticible gap between it and the body on the passenger's side.

I'd like to pull the bumber cover off and check for damage. Any advice on what to look for?

    Thanks,
    Sean

So I pulled the bumper cover off and there was pretty much no damage to the car. There is a metal mounting strip that the bumper cover attaches too that was slightly bent but that was easy enough to fix. The bumper fits on the car much better now but if you're looking close you can see that there is still a bit of a gap where the plastic bumper cover became distressed and deformed slightly. Damn. Oh well, looks better than it did and I'm releaved that my car wasn't messed up.

Now, I only hope that the Saturn was damaged too badly.
